Student Housing wants to help the environment, but their primary obligation is to the students. They cannot spend more money on environmental efforts if it means reducing services for students. In order to keep up their work for the environment, they need your help. And the best way you can help is by saving energy. If each resident focuses on reducing their energy use every day, we could see some big results. If you can help Student Housing to save energy, they have promised to improve garbage sorting and recycling at the student dorms.

Student Housing has decided that if residents can reduce their energy use 2% between February 1st and April 1st, they will install garbage and recycling stations for metal/glass in all of the student dorms. Garbage sorting and recycling will be much easier and accessible than it is today. That way we can help the environment by using less energy and recycling. That’s called a 2-for-1 deal!
